Quetigny. Alzheimer's: solidarity roses in the Grand-Quetigny gallery
This Friday, May 23 and Saturday, May 24, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., members of the Lions Clubs will once again take over the Grand-Quetigny shopping mall as part of an action entitled “A yellow rose for Alzheimer’s.” “The flowers [given for a donation of €3, Editor’s note] will be offered individually wrapped, with an information sticker on this action,” explains Simone Steinkamp, coordinator of the operation. The aim is to raise funds to help finance a five-day vacation for caregivers and those they care for, at the Château de Jully-lès-Buxy in Saône-et-Loire, with leisure activities, in a secure setting, with medical and social support.
