A luxury hotel in Rougières: in Hyères, the official RN candidate detailed his program

Jean-Michel Eynard-Tomatis, opposition municipal councilor since 2016, officially launched his candidacy for the municipal elections this Thursday at the restaurant l'Escale du sud. The candidate, officially nominated by the National Rally (RN), but also by the UDR and the RPR (1) " by virtue of national agreements ," as Stéphane Rambaud, the deputy for the 3rd constituency, of which he is currently the deputy, told us, received the support of Philippe de Beauregard, former historic candidate of the FN in Hyères from the end of the 1990s to the beginning of the 2000s, now mayor of Camaret-sur-Aigues (84) and member of the national office of the RN.

Although the expected RN deputy and departmental secretary Frank Giletti was ultimately conspicuous by his absence, the candidate was able to benefit from the friendly presence of two other candidates from his party, in the race for the town halls of La Garde and Carqueiranne, Nicolas Salsou and Florian Diliberto.

"Moratorium" on the Rougières area

Jean-Michel Aynard-Tomatis has gone further into his campaign project, anything but " architectural ," he repeated, " no question of building anything to leave his name in history ." In terms of urban planning, he intends to " request a moratorium" on the area of ​​the current ZAC des Rougières project to create " possibly a hotel, rather than social housing ," a hotel that would be " luxury ," he then specified, but also a disabled leisure center, a seasonal workers' village - " with some social housing in this area anyway " - and a respite village for relatives of disabled people. In another project for the Val des Rougières, this time (see our August 6 edition), he finally estimates " between one and three " the number of "unsanitary or unoccupied " towers that could be razed, in favor of another type of housing, if they could not be rehabilitated, after study.

On the economic front, he proposes the creation of free zones for businesses, and on the social front, the creation of inclusive housing for seniors. " We could imagine this at the Villa Romaine or at the Michelet school ."
