David Lisnard (New Energy Mayor of Cannes and President of the Association of Mayors of France): "Too much tax kills tax"

The housing tax was back in the news this weekend, with the Minister of Regional Planning, François Rebsamen, ruling out reinstating it but proposing a substitute. He said he was considering introducing a "modest contribution" to fund municipal public services in order to "reconnect" between communities and the citizens who live there.
