For the first time, more than half of the electorate is over 50 years old

The French population is aging, and mathematically, so is its electorate. This is important information, especially since seniors are voting more. In 2024, during the first round of the legislative elections, 77% of those over 60 turned out to vote, compared to 57% of those aged 18-24. This is a challenge for the political class, forced to deal with the demands and concerns of this age group.
