Jo Minniti elected new mayor of La Seyne after a suspenseful municipal council meeting

It took three rounds of voting to finally achieve the white smoke. And it was not by a single vote, but by "age privilege" that Joseph Minniti ultimately won.
With 23 votes for the former sixth deputy and the same number for Jean-Pierre Colin, the two men were unable to decide "fairly".
It is therefore thanks to a rare provision of the electoral code , providing that in the event of a tie the oldest member wins the election, that Jo Minniti, 82 years old, won and is the new mayor of La Seyne-sur-Mer .
