No consensus was possible between the majority of Olivier Faure, re-elected first secretary of the Socialist Party, and the minority represented by Nicolas Mayer-Rossignol at the congress held from June 13 to 15, 2025, in Nancy. The issue: the position of La France Insoumise within the left-wing union.
