Strasbourg. Change of presidency at the Strasbourg Consular Corps Association: Andreas Lins succeeds Philippe Crevoisier

At its committee meeting on September 8, 2025, the Strasbourg Consular Corps Association announced a change in the association's presidency. Andréas Lins, Consul General of Austria, succeeds Philippe Crevoisier, Consul General of Switzerland, as President of the Consular Corps, who is leaving his post in Strasbourg. The association also changed its Secretary General: Christophe Kieffer, Honorary Consul of the Netherlands, succeeds Francis Hirn, Honorary Consul of Lithuania. The Strasbourg Consular Corps Association is composed of consuls general and professional consuls, as well as honorary consuls based in Strasbourg and the Grand Est region. Along with the permanent representatives to the Council of Europe, it contributes to making Strasbourg the second diplomatic city of France. Beyond the specific missions of its members, the work of the Consular Corps as a whole aims to contribute to the international influence of Strasbourg, Alsace, and the Grand Est region. It facilitates the reception in Strasbourg of country representatives as well as relations between its members and regional authorities.
