Apple 2025 Keynote: A summary of all the announcements

Apple's latest keynote allowed the company to unveil several major new products. While the conference didn't deliver any major surprises compared to expectations, there were plenty of announcements. On the agenda: the iPhone 17, the iPhone Air , the AirPods Pro 3, and new Apple Watch smartwatches. Here's a rundown of all the announcements made during Apple's latest keynote.

This year, it's the iPhone 17 that was unveiled with several versions. The major new features concern the new screen which has ProMotion for fluidity similar to the iPhone Pro screen, but also a new A19 chip for better performance. The selfie camera is also improved and boosted with AI to automatically detect the number of people in your scene.
The iPhone 17 also says goodbye to its base 128GB storage. The smartphone is now only offered in 256GB as the first choice, but this is much more interesting than last year since the iPhone 17 is sold for only a few euros more than its predecessor while offering double the storage.
But the star of the evening was the iPhone Air. This new phone relies on its extreme thinness to establish itself as the thinnest iPhone ever made by Apple. At just 5.6 mm thick, it directly rivals the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge and its 5.8 mm thickness. In addition to its design, the iPhone 17 Air incorporates several of Apple's latest technologies, including the A19 Pro chip, a 120 Hz ProMotion display, and a 48-megapixel main camera.
The other models will not be left out, with numerous improvements in terms of photography (up to 8x fusion zoom, three 48 MP photo sensors), performance (new A19 Pro chip for the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max) and autonomy. Here is the expected range this year:
- iPhone 17
- iPhone Air
- iPhone 17 Pro
- iPhone 17 Pro Max
The iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro Max are taking advantage of this opportunity to undergo a minor design change. The latter includes a more visible camera block as well as a rectangular frame on the back of the smartphone for a new identity. The iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max are available in black, white, and orange.
During the 2025 keynote, Apple also unveiled new Apple Watches. While many Apple fans were disappointed by the lack of changes to the Apple Watch Series 10, the latest keynote may leave them wanting more. The Apple Watch Series 11 doesn't represent a major upgrade for the popular smartwatch, but rather a minor improvement. It features the S10 chip, improved battery life, a much more durable screen, and 5G connectivity.
The Apple Watch Ultra also has a new version. Simply named "Apple Watch Ultra 3," this upcoming generation notably benefits from an improved screen with much thinner bezels for greater comfort and readability. But the big new feature of the Apple Watch Ultra 3 lies in a brand new connection mode that's never been seen before in an Apple smartwatch: support for satellite connectivity. This network would allow you to use several of the watch's services (calls, messages, etc.) even when you don't have a nearby communication network.
Finally, the Apple Watch SE 3 was announced as the next generation of affordable Apple smartwatches. Featuring the S10 chip and the latest gestures available on the main series, the Apple Watch SE also features an always-on display for better visibility, as well as sleep score tracking and fast charging.
For several years now, Apple has been eagerly awaiting the AirPods Pro 3. It must be said that the second generation is still excellent today and easily ranks among the best wireless earbuds with noise cancellation.
The AirPods Pro 3 are finally official. While they don't feature any major design changes, these premium earbuds do offer several new features like heart rate tracking and real-time translation.
On the software side, the company didn't provide more details on iOS 26 and its new look, but also ignored a large part of the artificial intelligence segment, embodied by Apple Intelligence. According to rumors, Apple's AI will offer new advanced features for photography (real-time editing, magic eraser, etc.) as well as for the user interface by 2026. We'll therefore have to be patient to hope for more information on the subject.
