2025 Women's Tour de France: "It's really war, no race reaches this level of tension"

Since its return four years ago for the women , the Tour de France has been a race apart. Much more publicized than the others, and much tougher too, the Grande Boucle puts the riders in situations they are not used to experiencing the rest of the year. On the roads of France, the pressure is tenfold, as are the tensions in the peloton. And yet, everyone fights to be there. At the end of a sixth stage in Auvergne between Clermont-Ferrand and Ambert won by the Frenchwoman Maëva Squiban , Libé discussed this very special race with her compatriot Dilyxine Miermont, a rider for the German team Ceratizit who grew up in the area.
You live in Clermont and are still licensed in Ambert. What was it like?
