Nearly three months after her epic run to the semi-finals at Roland Garros, Loïs Boisson , the new ambassador for the SVR brand, is preparing to discover the US Open , the final Grand Slam of the season. Before her first round match on Sunday or Monday against the Swiss Viktorija Golubic (world number 77), the new face of French women's tennis looks back for Le Figaro on her last few weeks of competition, which led her to her first career title, in the wake of the Parisian euphoria.
LE FIGARO. - How are you doing before your start at the US Open?
LOÏS BOISSON. - I'm 100%, everything's fine. There are no more problems with the adductor ( embarrassed, she had withdrawn from the American tour in Montreal and Cincinnati, Editor's note ).
What is your goal for this US Open, a tournament that you are about to discover?
It's new, but, as I always say, the goal is to go as far as possible. And we'll see what happens.
