Fenerbahçe-Benfica Lisbon in the Champions League play-offs

Having easily beaten OGC Nice , Benfica Lisbon are preparing to face José Mourinho's Fenerbahçe for a Champions League spot, with the first leg scheduled for August 19 or 20 and the return leg scheduled for August 26 or 27. The Istanbul club upset Feyenoord Rotterdam by winning 5-2 at home after losing 2-1 in the first leg. Six other tickets will be available to play in the Champions League, the draw for which will take place on August 28.

The ten teams that qualified this Tuesday evening will play in the promotion play-offs, for which four other clubs have been directly qualified (FC Basel, Celtic, Sturm Graz and Bodo/Glimt).
