Firsts for Kevin Carlos and Abdul Samed: Discover OGC Nice's starting 11 against Auxerre

OGC Nice hosts AJ Auxerre tonight to finally kick off their season, after a lackluster elimination in the third preliminary round of the Champions League against Benfica and a worrying home defeat last week against Toulouse (0-1). Already in need of redemption, Nice will rely on Yehvann Diouf, who is back in goal against AJA, who beat Lorient in the opening match (1-0). In front of him, the three-man defence (Mendy-Bah-Oppong) will be the same as against TFC.

Two debuts in red and black

The flanks will be anchored by Louchet on the right, who is numerically replacing Clauss, who is due to leave Leverkusen, and Bard on the left. In the center, Abdul Samed will make his debut in the starting 11, with Boudaoui alongside him. Up front, Jansson and Boga will be expected to serve Kevin Carlos, who arrived this week from Basel to add weight to the attack.
