Football (departmental cups): Sarlat, Limens and Douzillac crowned champions
Limens JSA logically won. Jean-Baptiste Marty

This Sunday, in very mild weather, the best teams from divisions D2, D3 and D4 faced off in the departmental finals in Chancelade.

Douzillac first, then Limens JSA and finally' These teams became champions in their respective divisions. In Chancelade, this Sunday, it was first the 8-a-side football teams who opened the ball with the first cup lifted by Leguillac (victory over Lalinde Couze Sauveb'uf 1-0), before being imitated by the Cheminots du Copo (winners 3-2 against Saint-Léon-Vézère).

Next up was the Departmental 4 final between Périgueux Foot B and Douzillac Saint-Louis. With a hat-trick from Garandeau, Douzillac led 3-2 at halftime in a match full of high-octane action. Both teams scored a goal each in the second half, and Douzillac's Yellows lifted the cup in front of their many supporters who came to cheer them on. Limens JSA held the advantage at halftime (1-0) against Périgord Vert in the D3 final, and the Astériens also lifted the winners' trophy, winning 2-1. A logical victory for a superior team that nevertheless failed to shine against a strong opponent.

And then, in Departmental 2, Sarlat-Marcillac quickly took the lead over Tocane, with a goal scored in the first half and another in the second half before Tocane equalized (2-1). But the Sarladais resisted until the end to win.
