As the 88th edition of the French Championship kicks off on Friday, August 15, the 18 teams involved unveiled their new jerseys for the 2025-2026 season during the summer break. Each jersey hides references and symbols of identity . The hexagons on the LOSC jersey, for example, symbolize the famous Citadel of Lille, located in the heart of the city, while Strasbourg has opted for a jersey that pays homage to the emblematic Notre-Dame Cathedral in Strasbourg.

Some clubs have also decided to remain sober, like Stade Rennais, others have decided to innovate, like TFC which will have a home jersey horizontally divided into two parts, a first in the history of the club's main jerseys. For their part, the Parisians, winners of the Champions League last season, will not be wearing their star-adorned jerseys in Ligue 1, as these are reserved for their Champions League matches .
