Rape trial requested against PSG defender Achraf Hakimi

The 26-year-old footballer, who has been the subject of a preliminary investigation since February 27, 2023, due to accusations made against him by a 24-year-old woman at the time of the events, was indicted and placed under judicial supervision on March 3.

The young woman, who had not filed a complaint at the time, went to the Nogent-sur-Marne police station (Val-de-Marne) to report the rape she allegedly suffered at the hands of Achraf Hakimi on February 25, 2023, at the player's home in Boulogne-Billancourt (Hauts-de-Seine). She said she had formed a relationship with the Parisian right-back on the social network Instagram in January, then gone to the Moroccan international's home. She reportedly told police that the Moroccan international had groped her before raping her. The young woman allegedly pushed the player away before contacting a friend who came to pick her up.

During the hearings, the PSG player denied any assault or rape. The capital club, of which the Moroccan international defender is one of the leaders who led it to the Champions League title at the end of May, has so far always chosen to give its "support" to Achraf Hakimi, assuring that it "trusts the justice system" .
