Innocent at first glance, the second stage of the Tour de France , this Sunday, July 6, between Lauwin-Planque and Boulogne-sur-Mer, actually promises to be explosive with a finale full of particularly steep climbs, terrain favorable to punchers.

This second day in Hauts-de-France could be all the more lively as the weather forecast is bad with rain and especially wind, which could play a big role as we approach the finish line.

In the last 20 of the 209 kilometers of this stage, the riders will have to swallow three short but formidable hills, the Côte du Haut Pichot (1.1 km at 9.4%), the Côte de Saint-Etienne-au-Mont (1 km at 10.6%) and the Côte d'Outreau (800 m at 8.8%).

The finish in Boulogne-sur-Mer, where Peter Sagan won in 2012, will also be uphill.

It remains to be seen whether the stage will be as tense and lively as the one this Saturday.

The 2nd stage of the Tour de France 2025 between Lauwin-Planque and Boulogne-sur-Mer will be broadcast from 12:15 p.m. (fictitious start), with a predicted finish at 5:20 p.m., on France Télévisions (France 3 then France 2) and Eurosport 1, as well as live with commentary on our website leparisien.fr
