Women's Tour de France: How much does the winner earn?

Beyond the prestige of winning the famous Tour de France, the winner will pocket a nice bonus, even if the difference with Tadej Pogacar, winner in the men's race, remains significant.
By Le ParisienSunday, August 3rd, will mark the final stage of this women's Tour de France, with the finish scheduled for Châtel. At the end of this week of competition, the crowned cyclist will receive a prize fund of €50,000. The runner-up, meanwhile, will pocket half as much, €25,000, while the cyclist who completes the podium will take home €10,000.
These sums are supplemented by bonuses for stage wins, mountain passes, and wearing the distinctive jersey. For example, each cyclist who wins a distinctive jersey will receive €3,000. Note that these bonuses are shared between the riders and their teams. In 2024, the winner, Katarzyna Niewiadoma , pocketed a total of €56,480.
By comparison, men earn ten times more. Tadej Pogacar notably pocketed €500,000 for his first place in the general classification, in addition to his numerous bonuses .
