Which Joggers Are Better: Lululemon or Vuori?

Let's talk about one of the greatest athleisure debates of our time: Lululemon vs. Vuori. Both brands are undeniably doing great things when it comes to blending athletic wear with everyday utility, but each brand have its own approach and values. Vuori's mission revolves around comfort and versatility to reflect its SoCal origins, while Lululemon is driven more by technical innovation that enhances performance.
If you're summoning me to pick a winner, what better article of clothing is there to compare than the jogger? Having proven its staying power as a staple of everyday wardrobes since the first athleisure craze of the mid-aughts, the jogger is a reliable workhorse. The right pair offers its services for everything from strenuous workouts to Sunday errands followed by a lazy afternoon at home.
As such, it's imperative that you choose the right jogger for your wardrobe. Yes, it's that serious. I tested each brand's bestselling version–Lululemon's ABC Jogger and Vuori's Sunday Performance Jogger—and compared pricing, fabric, size, and fit just for you. Winner included.
Let's meet the competitors.
PricingThere are, of course, plenty of cheaper options on the market in the general jogger category, but what you're paying for from both Lululemon and Vuori is fabrication and fit, which help to back up the steeper costs.
While Lululemon and Vuori's price points tend to be comparable among most products, there is a notable difference when it comes to each brand's fan-favorite joggers. Vuori's Sunday Performance Jogger sells for $98, while Lululemon's ABC Jogger clocks in at $128. The $30 price difference might seem negligible to some, but I could see others having a hard time stomaching paying over $100 for elevated sweatpants. But I'm about to convince you to.
FabricMaterial is the major differentiator between the two offerings here. Vuori's Sunday Performance Jogger is made from a soft polyester technical knit fabric with a lot of stretch. The fabric makes the pant feel a bit more on the athletic side of athleisure, perfect for a colder-weather workout or for throwing them on after showering at the gym. It's a slick, moisture-wicking, extremely comfortable material.
Meanwhile, Lululemon's ABC Jogger is made from the brand's signature Warpstreme fabric, which is soft and durable—but its mid-weight feel and wrinkle-resistant fabrication gives this jogger more of an everyday feel. With its sleeker fit, you feel like you could get away with dressing this pant up and wearing it for your weekend activity of choice with friends.
Sizing & FitLululemon's jogger sizes range from XS to 5XL (with 28", 30", and 32" inseam options), while Vuori's come in XS to XXL (with 28" and 30" inseam options, labeled Regular and Long, respectively).
I'm classically a medium almost across the board, and they both fit true to size on me.
They both offer a similarly slim fit, featuring tapered cuffs at the ankles that instantly elevate the athleisure look. Partially because of the fabrication, though, I found the Vuori jogger to be less restrictive, which made working out in them much more appealing.

That being said, the Lululemon jogger felt much more elevated and crisp. This pant has more structure to it and features several details—the cut of the pockets with visible stitching on the thigh and a more supportive drawstring waistband, for example—that help it stand out and make it feel more singular.

Lululemon's ABC Jogger wins the athleisure staple battle for me. While Vuori's Sunday Performance Jogger is a fantastic pant that offers immense comfort (especially for working out), Lululemon's is the more versatile pant overall. I work out in the ABC Joggers, too, but I also have zero hesitation about wearing them in several other situations, because I know I won't look slobby. The combination of fit and fabric offers a genuinely elevated take on the modern sweatpant that makes that extra $30 well worth it.
