TOP500 is back: after Vicenza, the Verona stage

The annual Top 500 appointment is back, the research conducted by PwC Italia and Athesis . “Europe and the difficult market transition” will be the focus of the four events of the omnichannel project organized by PwC Italia and the Athesis publishing group in collaboration with the University of Verona .
The route was inaugurated on Thursday 20 February with Top 500 Vicenza at 6 pm at the Congress Centre of the Episcopal Seminary of Vicenza. On 27 February the Verona stop , again at 6 pm, in the Auditorium Verdi of Veronafiere; on 6 March at the Teatro Sociale of Brescia to close on 13 March in the evocative setting of the Teatro Sociale of Mantua.

In presenting the report on the competitiveness of the Old Continent, Mario Draghi warned that the challenge is "urgent and unavoidable". The former governor of the Bank of Italy added that "it is existential for Europe" and that without a decisive change of direction "the EU risks compromising its well-being, the environment and its freedom". During the stages of Top 500 experts and professionals will delve into highly topical issues such as the Green Deal, the weakness of Germany, Trump's politics, the Russian-Ukrainian war, demographic decline and post-globalization. At each stage of the roadshow, alongside the interventions of PwC Italia and the University of Verona, speeches and round tables will alternate with names of excellence in business, representatives of Confindustrie, university professors and economists . Among the main protagonists Carlo Cottarelli , economist and director of the Program for Education in Economic and Social Sciences and of the Observatory on Italian Public Accounts of the Catholic University of Milan, will be the protagonist of all the stages. At his side, as is now tradition in the appointments with the Top 500 branded Athesis, the very popular geopolitical analyst and director of Domino Dario Fabbri will be confirmed.
