First steps. Of the theater to come. But also a special occasion to spend an evening in the cool of the Chiostri Bramanteschi. The splendid structure next to the Fontana. It is there that four readings will be welcomed. Four performative readings to close the very rich season of the theater in Isola. They have been important months. Which have relocated the stage within the Milanese theater horizon. Transforming it into a true point of reference for those who investigate the languages, technologies and great questions of the present time. Starting from gender issues. Sensitivity that can also be seen in this almost summery fragment of the program: "Chiostri Suite", focus on contemporary dramaturgy, from June 5 to 15 in via Boltraffio. "It is not just reading - explains Ivonne Capece, director of the Fontana - and it is not just stage. It is living dramaturgy. New writings that are not satisfied with the page and ask for space, breathing space. An open laboratory, a forge of visions where unpublished texts meet the public before becoming a show. A territory of passage, fluid and radical". It starts on the 5th at 7 pm with "Lexicon" by Eliana Rotella directed by Giulia Sangiorgio. Or rather the Corpora, a company that is making a name for itself with great force.
Here with the story of a long-distance love between two girls. Two absent bodies. But connected. Will it be enough? On June 8th it is the turn of "Pupilla" (from Casa di Bambola, in the photo), a rewrite by Federico Bellini together with some Cross students. Directed by Capece. While on stage Massimo di Michele and Marialaura Palmeri lead the audience in a sound performance to be followed with headphones. A sort of sequel to Ibsen's classic. On the 14th focus on the writings that emerged from the Omissis Prize, with some readings entrusted to the Collettivo Lunazione. Diego Vincenti
