SuoNato Festival 2025: in Naples the summer lights up at the Ex Nato Base in Bagnoli

From Herbie Hancock to CCCP , from Willie Peyote to Coma Cose , passing through La Niña , Fabri Fibra , Psicologi , I Patagarri , Walter Ricci , Teenage Dreams . SuoNato Festival is born, the summer festival that from July to September 2025 will animate the spaces of the Ex Base Nato di Bagnoli (Naples) with shows and concerts exclusively for Campania. A wide-ranging festival - produced by Ufficio K , Palapartenope-Nonsoloeventi srl and Duel Production - designed for a heterogeneous audience, which will welcome great Italian and international artists in the area that rises on the hill of San Laise. Where once there was the largest Nato headquarters in Italy and one of the main operational centers in Europe, converted in recent years into a multipurpose space, now stands a place that welcomes music, art and the meeting of thousands of people of all ages.
Born from the experience of the Suo.Na Festival – a historic Neapolitan festival that over the last decade has brought musical events of various kinds to symbolic spaces of the city, such as Castel Sant'Elmo, Maschio Angioino, Palapartenope and recently also to the ex Base di Bagnoli – SuoNato Festival presents a program of 10 events this year.
The SuoNato Festival 2025 will be inaugurated on Friday 4 July by I Patagarri , the revelation band of the latest edition of X Factor . The Milanese combo, with its joyful and engaging gipsy jazz, will bring to the stage “ L'ultima ruota del Caravan tour ”, a musical journey that will cross the main Italian cities, giving life to an overwhelming show that mixes folk, rock and popular rhythms.
The second date of the festival, Saturday 5 July , is Walter Ricci's turn, one of the most refined and surprising voices of contemporary jazz. Live, the Neapolitan pianist explores the warm flows of South America, encountering mambo, cumbia, rumba and cha, without ever losing the connection with the Neapolitan melody and the jazz heart that distinguish him. A concert full of elegant contaminations that moves in a dimension suspended between past and future, between roots and experimentation.
On Tuesday 8 July, the former NATO Base will host the long-awaited concert of one of the most beloved and influential bands in the history of Italian rock and punk, CCCP . The group composed of Giovanni Lindo Ferretti , Massimo Zamboni , Annarella Giudici and Danilo Fatur will once again take to the stage at the main festivals this summer for a final call, which will also stop in Naples, over 35 years after their last performance in the city. A last and only opportunity to see one of the most iconic groups in Italian music live.
Saturday 12 July will be the turn of La Niña . The singer-songwriter and producer presents her new ambitious recording project, “ Furèsta ” live. A majestic and evocative work that has its roots in the tradition of Neapolitan popular music, offering an innovative and avant-garde vision of the world. On stage, in addition to Carola Moccia (aka La Niña), there will also be the producer of the album Alfredo Maddaluno and a large group of musicians.
On Friday , July 18 , the event that is thrilling young people with sold out dates in Italy and abroad returns to Naples: Teenage Dream – “ Fabulous Summer 2025 ”, the 2000s party that retraces the last twenty years also and above all through the hits of Disney Channel . A large party in continuous evolution with many guests – such as the Argentine actress and singer Laura Esquivel – and a live show dedicated to the soundtracks of High School Musical, Camp Rock, Hannah Montana and many others, capable of creating aggregation and fun.
On Saturday 19th July it will be Willie Peyote's turn: Italy's most beloved cynical poet arrives in Naples for an exclusive stop on his " Grazie Ma No Grazie Tour ". Live, Willie Peyote and his band will recount 10 years of music celebrating what the singer-songwriter has dubbed The Savoy Trilogy, which began with " Educazione Sabauda " (2015), continued with " Sindrome di Tôret " (2017) and concluded with the latest album " Sulla Riva Del Fiume ", which includes the song presented at the last Sanremo Festival.

The American pianist and composer will perform at the ex Base in his only date in southern Italy accompanied by a super lineup that includes Terence Blanchard (trumpet), James Genus (bass), Lionel Loueke (guitar and vocals) and Jaylen Petinaud (drums). An icon of contemporary music and winner of 14 Grammy Awards, Herbie Hancock has been the protagonist of an extraordinary career that has led him to confront different fields and genres, becoming one of the most acclaimed musicians in the world.
Thursday 24 July will be dedicated to the music of Come Cose : the duo composed of California (Francesca Mesiano) and Fausto Lama (Fausto Zanardelli), returns to perform live after the release of their new album “ Vita Fusa ”, which also includes the song that was a hit at the Sanremo Festival, “ Cuoricini ”. An intimate album, between ballads and songs with various sound facets, which reveals the various colors that characterize the duo, a couple in life and in music, telling a new and very personal chapter of Coma Cose.
On Friday 5 September , Fabri Fibra returns to perform in Naples with his “ Festival Tour 2025 ” (an event in collaboration with Blackstar Concerti ). The rapper from Senigallia has demonstrated in over 20 years of career and 10 albums how rap is a genre capable of conquering all the charts and of being the spokesperson of a strongly Italian, complex and often misunderstood social reality. From his first album “ Turbe Giovanili ” in 2002, through the classic “ Mr. Simpatia ”, up to his latest work “ Caos ”, Fabri Fibra is now one of the greatest exponents of the Italian rap scene.
Closing this edition of the SuoNato Festival, on Friday 19 September , will be Psicologi . On stage, Drast and Lil Kvneki will bring the overwhelming energy of “ DIY ”, their latest album that has won over audiences and critics. With a sound that blends rap, indie and pop, sincere lyrics and compelling melodies, the two artists tell the story of Generation Z, dealing with heterogeneous themes that range from love to anguish for the future and the disillusionment that their peers often experience.
In addition to the concerts already announced, hosted on the main stage of the Ex Base Nato, a second stage will also be set up that will welcome emerging artists and new realities of Italian music. So as to make the area accessible for a longer period and with different activities.
