Teatro al Sacro Monte nine events between stories and reflections

The summer festivals in Varese are in full swing, starting with " Tra Sacro e Sacro Monte ", which debuts this evening, Thursday 3 July, with the first event of the 16th edition. On the stage of the XIV chapel, " Le Llibre Vermell De Montserrat " is scheduled for 9 pm. A production of Lugano Arte e Cultura and the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana, which brings on stage an ensemble of 20 very young voices from the Coro Clairière together with the award-winning actress Arianna Scommegna . The show is accompanied by the Italian-Swiss trio Niton, which blends acoustic and electronic elements. A performance enriched by the stage reading of director Andrea Chiodi . At the centre of the show is a manuscript preserved at the monastery of Montserrat, near Barcelona. "The text is one of the most important legacies of medieval musical art - explains Chiodi". The 51st musical season of the Canonica di Brezzo di Bedero kicks off this weekend. Appointment at 9 pm on Saturday 5 July at the Collegiate Church of San Vittore with the Varese Chamber Choir. Also on Saturday, but at 6 pm, at Villa Panza in Varese there will be a concert by Gigi Masin". LC
