Single allowance, increases in July. How much more money from INPS and when will the transfers arrive

Single allowance, important news in July for the measure provided by INPS in favor of families with dependent children.
In fact, starting from July 1, 2025, the amounts of the Family Allowance (ANF) will increase by 0.8% due to the automatic adjustment based on the ISTAT consumer price index. This increase, valid until June 30, 2026, was formalized by INPS with circular no. 92 of 2025. The adjustment also concerns the income thresholds that determine access to the benefit.
Single allowance payment dates in July : INPS will pay the single allowance starting from the 20th (like every month), for families with no changes in family status, and on later dates for those who have communicated changes, such as the birth of a child.
Family allowances are paid to families with an income below certain thresholds. The amounts vary based on the composition of the family unit. Since the single and universal allowance for dependent children came into force, this measure has remained active only for families made up of spouses, brothers, sisters and grandchildren, therefore excluding those with children and orphans . Applications must be submitted directly through the INPS portal and payment is made via bank or postal transfer. The calculation is made based on the following factors:
the type of family unit; the number of members; the overall income of the family unit
The right lapses if the conditions are no longer present. Applications can also be submitted for past periods, with arrears being paid within five years. The thresholds vary based on the composition of the household and the type of employment relationship of the applicant. The subsidy is instead due to the following categories:
private sector employees; agricultural employees; employees of companies that have ceased to exist or gone bankrupt; holders of social security benefits from employment
Even non-EU citizens can apply for the allowance, but they must be residents in Italy. If they are not, they must have signed an international agreement with our country for the Anf or be holders of a single or long-term residence permit.
The specific revaluations vary based on the family composition . The sum of the individual incomes is taken into account in the calculation. In the INPS document, the new amounts concern the following families:
with disabled adults other than their children; with childless spouses in which there is at least one disabled brother, sister or nephew; single-parent households (with the applicant being single, separated, divorced, widowed, abandoned, foreigner with spouse residing in a non-contracted foreign country) without children in which there is at least one disabled brother, sister or nephew; households without children; single-parent households without children with at least one disabled brother, sister or nephew; without children in which there is at least one disabled spouse and no other disabled member;
single-parent families without children with at least one brother, sister or nephew where only the applicant is disabled
