Record heat doesn't let go of Italy, 18 cities with red flag today and tomorrow

Extreme heat from North to South for a few more days
Italy is still in the grip of the heat . Until tomorrow, Thursday, July 3, the number of cities with red-mark temperatures does not change, compared to those expected today, Wednesday, July 2.
The hottest citiesAccording to the latest update of the bulletin published on the website of the Ministry of Health, in fact, 18 out of 27 monitored centers on the Peninsula are expected to be on maximum alert both today and tomorrow: Ancona, Bologna, Bolzano, Brescia, Campobasso, Florence, Frosinone, Genoa, Latina, Milan, Palermo, Perugia, Rieti, Rome, Turin, Trieste, Verona and Viterbo. While today there were 17 red dots, one less (that is, Campobasso, today orange).
For today, only one city is orange, for the others it is yellow: Bari, Cagliari, Catania, Civitavecchia, Messina, Naples, Pescara, Reggio Calabria. Tomorrow orange sticker also for Pescara.
The weather forecast
The temperature alert affected 17 cities yesterday . Apparently the Pluto anticyclone will continue to lash Italy in the coming days, while thunderstorms will not be lacking in the North. But iLMeteo.it indicates a possible date for a presumed collapse of the suffocating African bubble . In fact, a collapse of the high pressure is expected starting from Friday 4 July, starting from the Alps and Northern Italy. On Saturday 5 July, maximum temperatures could drop, under the blows of heavy hail and torrential rains, even by 10°C in the North.
