In the beginning there were the metaphors "of motion to place" - from the famous "They didn't see us coming" after the victory in the primaries to "We are here to stay" after the defeat in the municipal elections - and somewhat hackneyed slogans like "Change is not a gala dinner" (also in the Instagram live of May 2023). Then Schlein loosened up and started to come up with quotes, even if not original at least more pop : to invite the Democratic leaders to a team game, in June 2023 at the Nazareno, she used the songs of Daniele Silvestri, Niccolò Fabi and Diodato . And in February of last year, a guest of Cartabianca on Rete4, she quoted songs by two Sanremo contestants, Annalisa and Ghali . " Let's not kill the mood of the victory that there was in Sardinia: let's work to find solutions, because sincerely, when, when, when do we get together and then win?".

Elly Schlein's latest fashion is puns and rhymes . On February 5, during the debate on the communications of ministers Nordio and Piantedosi on the Almasri case, the secretary attacked Meloni with these words: "You are not the Prime Minister, you are the rabbit president: run away, run away, run away from your responsibilities!". And yesterday, speaking in the Chamber during the discussion of the motion of no confidence in the Minister of Tourism, Daniela Santanchè: "While you come here to defend handbags, who defends Italians from bills?".
