Meloni will attend the Rimini Meeting: her first time as prime minister.

Giorgia Meloni will be a guest at the Rimini Meeting for the first time since arriving at Palazzo Chigi. The Meeting, now in its 46th year, will be held from August 22nd to 27th at the Rimini Fair. The title is "In Desert Places We Will Build with New Bricks," based on the Choruses from TS Eliot's "The Rock."

Also present at the meeting will be the vice-presidents of the Council Antonio Tajani and Matteo Salvini, the ministers Andrea Abodi , Tommaso Foti , Giancarlo Giorgetti , Alessandro Giuli , Alessandra Locatelli , Francesco Lollobrigida , Matteo Piantedosi , Gilberto Pichetto Fratin , Orazio Schillaci , Adolfo Urso and Giuseppe Valditara .

Among the high-ranking officials of the State will be Luca Antonini , Vice President of the Constitutional Court, as well as numerous Deputy Ministers and Undersecretaries. Daria Perrotta , State Accountant General, will participate, while, as is tradition, numerous regional presidents will be involved, including Massimiliano Fedriga, President of the Conference of the Regions. Among the mayors, Gaetano Manfredi , President of the National Association of Italian Municipalities (ANCI), will also speak. Francesco Maria Chelli, President of ISTAT, will also be present.

On the opening day, Professor Mario Draghi will speak on the future of Europe, one of the central themes of this edition. Several sessions will focus on the European Union in the new geopolitical and economic landscape, with the participation of Roberta Metsola , President of the European Parliament, Raffaele Fitto , Executive Vice President of the European Commission, and other parliamentary group chairs and MEPs, including Vice-Presidents Pina Picierno and Antonella Sberna . The in-depth discussions on Europe will conclude with a meeting with Enrico Letta .
