Polverini leaves Forza Italia and joins Us Moderates

Former Lazio Regional President and former Forza Italia MP Renata Polverini is leaving the Forza Italia party and joining Noi Moderati. The announcement was made by Polverini herself and Noi Moderati president Maurizio Lupi at the party headquarters.
"We need to get voters back to the polls," Lupi said, and Renata's participation is a "new beginning together" and "a further step in strengthening the project" of "strengthening the center of the center-right."
I share "political ideas and values" with Maurizio and the Moderates, the former UGL secretary emphasized. "This choice is motivated by the desire to strengthen the center-right and to offer my commitment to welfare and employment issues, which have characterized my political activity."
"The rising employment rate isn't enough; there's a very strong issue regarding lower wages and workplace safety." "I wasn't given the opportunity to do that in Forza Italia," Polverini said. "I ran for the European elections, I gathered votes without receiving any contributions from the party, and today, more than a year after the vote, I've realized that all the experience I've offered isn't being utilized."
"Renata's decision isn't an easy one. She's joining a party that still has a lot to prove, even though we're doing a great job," commented Saverio Romano, political coordinator of NM. The announcement of Polverini's entry comes just days after Campanian moderate Pino Bicchielli joined FI.
