Protests in the Chamber over air conditioning. FI: "It's too hot, we'll get sick."

The air conditioning issue erupts in the Chamber of Deputies, on an afternoon that admittedly isn't exactly record-breakingly hot. The protest was voiced by Forza Italia MP Patrizia Marrocco , who, during the vote on the infrastructure bill, unexpectedly intervened not on the votes but on the order of business: "I'm raising a common-sense issue regarding everyone's health. The air conditioning is excessively high, and it's unacceptable to work with the risk of returning home and getting sick. At best, we risk plaques, if not bronchopneumonia. I ask the presidency to bring the air conditioning up to adequate levels," she explained, to the applause of some of her colleagues.
But Marrocco's request provoked a firm response from Avs MP Francesco Borrelli : "I would like to point out to my colleague that every day there are workers who don't have air conditioning and die in temperatures below 40 degrees. They are the ones who must have priority."
The current president , Sergio Costa , however, took up the FI MP's request: "Today is the first time the issue has been raised. Fine, I'll give instructions on how to adjust the air conditioning."
