EU, we take industry concerns on AI Act seriously
"There is no stop the clock. There is no grace period. There is no pause. We have legal deadlines" defined in the European law on artificial intelligence. In recent days, the CEOs of 44 large European companies, including Airbus and BNP Paribas, wrote to the President of the Commission asking to put the implementation of the AI Act on hold.
