Poste Italiane, app inaccessible to users: thousands of cases reported

Many Poste Italiane users are experiencing problems accessing digital services and making online payments, both via the website and the app. Reports speak of difficulties in making transactions such as paying bills or purchases, and in some cases the inability to access their profile.

The outage has caused delays and inconvenience for those who regularly use digital platforms to manage their finances. On Downdetector, a compass that takes into account the outages recorded by users of digital platforms, a new peak in reports was recorded between nine and eleven today. Downdetector also records similar problems with the Intesa Sanpaolo and Unicredit apps, but at the moment nothing seems to connect the outages between them.

New App Released on July 1st

The malfunction of Poste comes at a delicate moment for the company, which since June 30 has deactivated the BancoPosta and PostePay Apps, replaced by the new Poste Italiane App. The new platform integrates all services - from postal savings to the activation of BancoPosta accounts, Postepay cards and insurance policies - and can already be downloaded from the App Store and Play Store.

Poste Italiane said it was working to resolve the technical issues, but did not provide a precise timeframe for the system to be fully restored. Meanwhile, users also complain about poor communication from the company, asking for greater transparency and timely updates.
