Technology, against fraud on EU Funds comes the Agea-Ismea IT dashboard

All-out fight against the phenomenon of undue perception of European and national funds managed by Agea. The Agency for Agricultural Payments and Ismea have signed a protocol to activate the land assignment service in the Sian - National Agricultural Information System - digital and graphic. It is about simplifying and speeding up the blocking or release of cadastral parcels necessary for receiving benefits, a procedure managed manually until now. This is how the new digital virtual tender was born, a real IT dashboard aimed at reducing the management times of information flows between Ismea and Agea. "It is a significant milestone in the process of digitalization and transparency in the management of agricultural funds in Italy - says the Minister of Agriculture, Francesco Lollobrigida - through the use of advanced information technologies, data exchange and system integration, we improve administrative efficiency for the benefit of farmers, we fight fraud and improper use of public resources and we enhance agricultural land both from an economic and productive perspective". The strategy implemented is to make digital data and information on the lands owned by Ismea, to represent the lands in a graphical and no longer alphanumeric way, to have an exact indication of the macro-use of the land, to constantly monitor the progress of the assignment of the surfaces in function of the possible resolution of the contractual relationships with Ismea. The information made available to the Paying Agencies in real time.
