Trump-Musk Clash, Elon Wins on Social Media

In the violent social media clash between Donald Trump and Elon Musk, two overexposed personalities in the media, the positive 'sentiment' in global conversations on social platforms favors the owner of X and Tesla by 33%, while the tycoon is at 23%.
In American-only conversations, however, the positive sentiment for Musk is 37.8%, while that for Trump is 13.9%. These are the findings of the analysis company Arcadia, which monitored the keywords 'Donald Trump' and 'Elon Musk' from June 3 to 6.
This analysis, on the other hand, also includes the negative 'sentiment' for the two: globally it stands at 66.9% for Musk and 77.1% for Trump; in the United States at 66.2% for the former and 86.1% for the latter.
The company also conducted an analysis of Elon Musk's profile on X, the platform he owns, from June 4 to 6, comparing the data with the previous three days. It emerged that, if on the one hand publications decreased by 12%, on the other hand interactions increased (+6.3%) and in particular comments (+70%) "because followers evidently want to enter the contest". And the users who subscribed to the channel in this very short period of time also increased: half a million more, to be precise +498 thousand.
"In short - Arcadia observes - Elon Musk's followers have shown a decrease in engagement of 1.3% but still express the will to understand and interact by commenting more on the posts". Trump instead entrusted his responses to his social Truth account: the three posts in which he counters Musk's criticisms have received an average of 56 thousand 'reactions' (comments, likes and shares) while the standard average of posts was 12 thousand.
For Arcadia, finally, the clash via post between the entrepreneur and the American president has a third winner, which is Google. The dispute, in fact, has registered peaks in searches for Musk and Trump in these hours both in the US and in the rest of the world.
