Atalanta still fully intends to extend the Ederson contract, which runs to June 2027, despite the interest from Manchester United and Al-Hilal.
La Dea are kept busy by the Ademola Lookman situation and hope that if the Nigerian does leave, it will be the last major departure of the summer.

That means their plan is to keep hold of Ederson and get him to commit to a new contract, as his current deal is set to expire in June 2027.
Of course, this could change if there is an offer they cannot refuse , or if the player pushes for the exit.
Atalanta hoping to resist Ederson approaches
Ederson has long been on the wish list for Manchester United, all the way from last summer, while recently Al-Hilal made an approach for his potential signature.
The Brazilian has just broken into the Selecao under new coach Carlo Ancelotti and turned 26 earlier this month.
He was signed from Salernitana for €22.9m in 2022 and has gone from strength to strength in the Atalanta jersey.
