Donnarumma ninth
These are the positions from third to tenth for the 2024-2025 Ballon d'Or, revealed during the evening at the Théâtre du Chatelet in Paris. Third is PSG midfielder Vitinha , followed by Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah , Barcelona striker Raphinha , PSG full-back Achraf Hakimi , Real Madrid striker Kylian Mbappé , Chelsea striker Cole Palmer , Manchester City goalkeeper Gigio Donnarumma in ninth and PSG full-back Nuno Mendes completing the top ten.

The first prize of the evening awarding the 69th Ballon d'Or went to Lamine Yamal: the Barcelona forward, also in the running for the most prestigious prize, won the Kopa Trophy for best young player. Another award went to Barcelona: Vicky Lopez won the Women's Kopa Trophy for best young player.

Lautaro , the Inter and Argentina striker, is twentieth.

Former Napoli player Fabian Ruiz is in 24th place, one step above Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham . Liverpool midfielder McAllister is in 22nd place, preceded by Borussia Dortmund's Guirassy .

Inter Milan's Champions League finalist winger, Denzel Dumfries , is ranked 25th.
Haaland twenty-sixth
Manchester City centre forward Erling Haaland is ranked 26th in the 2025 Ballon d'Or rankings.
