Celeste Pin's ex-wife doesn't believe she committed suicide and says: "Investigate."

Between tomorrow and Wednesday, the Florence Prosecutor's Office will appoint a medical examiner to perform an autopsy on Celeste Pin, the 64-year-old former footballer found dead in his home in the hills outside Florence on July 22. The autopsy was ordered following a complaint from his ex-wife, who requested further investigations because she was convinced that Pin did not take his own life.

Based on initial investigations, investigators have assumed it was a voluntary act, even though no suicide notes were found.
The Florence City Council today remembered the former footballer. City Assembly President Cosimo Guccione addressed the meeting: "The city of Florence loved him, and I think it was right to pay tribute to him," he said, to applause from councilors and aldermen.
