Riccardo Sottil lands in Salento: his transfer to Lecce is official.

Young attacking winger Riccardo Sottil arrived this afternoon, joining Lecce under coach Eusebio Di Francesco as the fifth signing of the transfer market. Born in 1999, the player, on his way out of Fiorentina, arrived in the city to undergo a medical and sign a contract that will tie him to the Giallorossi club for the 2025/26 season.

The deal is set up as a onerous dry loan: a cost of approximately €500,000 has been indicated, which Lecce will pay to Fiorentina, with no option to buy.

After a timid stint at AC Milan—with few appearances due to a lackluster season—Sottil has the opportunity to relaunch his career in Serie A with Salento. At Lecce, he'll find familiar surroundings, joining Di Francesco and bringing energy and dribbling to the team's attack.
