Sara Errani and Jasmine Paolini advance to Cincinnati semifinals: Stearns and Vondrousova lose 6-4, 6-3

Rome, August 14, 2025 – Sara Errani and Jasmine Paolini have reached the semifinals of the Cincinnati Open doubles tournament. The Italians defeated the pair of American Peyton Stearns and Czech Marketa Vondrousova in straight sets (6-4, 6-3).

Jasmine Paolini and Sara Errani had reached the quarterfinals of the doubles draw of the “Cincinnati Open”, a WTA 1000 event with a prize pool of $5,152,599, played on the hard courts of the Lindner Family Tennis Center in the Ohio metropolis, after defeating the Serbian Danilovic and the Russian Potapova in their debut match, and the pair Magda Linette and Clara Tauson in the round of 16, thanks to a forfeit.

A 2025 to remember for the Italian tennis players , who have already won three titles (Doha, Rome, and Roland Garros, not counting the final in Berlin). Together, they have won eight trophies.
