Castiglione dei Pepoli, 6 July 2025 – Saturday 12 July 2025, 9 pm The Notturna della Portaccia, now in its eleventh edition, is much more than a race: it is a celebration of Emilian hospitality, an embrace of sport, territory and gastronomic tradition. The atmosphere of the sunset that envelops Piazza della Libertà, with the shadows that lengthen and the lights that slowly come on, makes the event a truly magical moment. At 9 pm the start, with hundreds of competitors and numerous sports groups who let themselves be guided by the historic “Portaccia” along a suggestive route, immersed in the colors and scents of the Apennines. But the race is just the beginning. After the finish, the celebration continues with a true triumph of Emilian cuisine: cappelletti, gnocchi, passatelli in brodo, homemade tagliatelle, mushrooms, mortadella di Bologna, and of course the inevitable barbecue with steaks and grilled sausages. A banquet that transforms the event into a convivial and unforgettable experience.
