Third race and third victory for Team Ciabini of Arezzo in the CIV Classic

Arezzo, 13 June 2025 – Team Ciabini of Arezzo triumphs in the third stage of the CIV Classic, the Italian speed championship for vintage motorcycles.
Among the protagonists of the Cremona race were Davide Masciotti and Ermanno Bastianini who, riding their Yamaha YZF-R6s, achieved first and third place respectively in the SS600 category and consolidated their positions at the top of the standings.
These results were added to the first and second places obtained in the two previous races and therefore allowed to increase the advantage in the standings over the pursuers, marking a turning point in the race for the title. The highest step of the podium was once again occupied by Masciotti who had a brilliant and suffered performance, at the end of a vibrant race that was marked by a curve after curve battle with Roberto Marconi.
The two drivers engaged in an exciting head-to-head race punctuated by overtaking and counter-overtaking that provided a spectacle of rare intensity to the fans present in the stands of the Lombard circuit, with the Team Ciabini driver having the upper hand in the final laps thanks to perfect management of the trajectories and the coolness of a veteran.
The podium was completed by Bastianini who was the author of a solid and aggressive race with which he led an exciting comeback and with which he deserved the third final place after being forced to start from the third row, victim of a slip in qualifying. These results confirmed the technical quality of the Team Ciabini bikes that were prepared with care and skill in the homonymous workshop in Arezzo by Paolo Ciabini who, for years, has been a point of reference for enthusiasts and professionals in the sector: his experience and his meticulous attention to detail were decisive in the overall performance of the team.
The next stage of the CIV Classic is scheduled for Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 July in the Parma Varano de' Melegari, but this test will be preceded on Monday 16 June by an official test session scheduled on the Misano circuit to which the Arezzo team was invited by Pirelli as a testament to the technical and sporting value of a team that is increasingly prominent on the national scene.
"With two drivers on the podium and a technical package that is now well-tested - comments Ciabini - we have sent a strong message to the championship. The double win in Cremona has consolidated our leadership in the general classification and has increased the mortgage on a championship that, day after day, is getting closer. The season is still long, but the work done so far allows us to dream".
