For golf lovers, the itineraries of La Dolce Vita Orient Express are coming

Golf lovers will be able to reach some of the most prestigious Italian greens aboard a luxury train. The Dolce Vita Orient Express, a luxury train born from the joint venture between LVMH and Accor with the Arsenale group, is adding some dedicated to golf lovers to its eight itineraries in autumn, with the aim of enhancing the Italian landscape and cultural heritage and, in particular, to promote the golf courses present on the national territory at an international level, combining high-level sport and a slow, elegant and immersive journey. The project, in fact, is aimed at an international audience and aims to strengthen the attractiveness of Italy as a golf destination of excellence, combining the charm of the train journey with the lure of some of the country's golf courses.

Royal Park Roveri
Starting in October 2025, the Northern Greens itinerary will cross Northern Italy, starting from Marco Simone Golf & Country Club, home of the 2023 Ryder Cup, with a welcome in the Dolce Vita Lounge at Roma Ostiense station and the official departure of the train. Subsequent stops will include Franciacorta Golf Club, Royal Park I Roveri, Antognolla Golf Club or Terme di Saturnia Natural SPA & Golf Resort offering a combination of great courses, postcard views and excellent hospitality.

The Club at Castiglion del Bosco
In November, the experience will be enriched with a second itinerary in Central-Southern Italy, Italian Swing, which will touch the San Domenico Golf Club in Puglia, The Club at Castiglion del Bosco in Tuscany and the Argentario Golf Club, the only authorized PGA facility in Italy. Not to be overlooked is the on-board offering, characterized by maximum comfort, starred cuisine and atmospheres that enhance the Italian lifestyle; on land, exclusive services, reserved hospitality and high-level sporting moments, with the participation of an internationally renowned professional golfer on board who will accompany guests for the entire duration of the trip.

Saturnia Thermal Baths
The La Dolce Vita Orient Express project also stems from the collaboration with the Italian Open. For this reason, a special award is planned for the first player to make a “hole in one”. The prize will consist of an exclusive two-day, three-night trip aboard the Orient Express La Dolce Vita with a subsequent overnight stay at the Hotel Orient Express La Minerva in Rome, for an experience of relaxation and comfort signed by Orient Express. The itinerary will be enriched by moments of personalized technical study and a tailor-made service for each guest. Each stop includes a private welcome, exclusive materials and gourmet breaks on the green, to combine the pleasure of the game with the discovery of the territory.
