3,000 Switch 2 consoles disappear from a truck. Hopefully, they'll show up on Marketplace soon.

Route of no return.— A truck transporting almost 3,000 Switch 2 consoles reported that the consoles had mysteriously disappeared, and we are sure that they will soon “appear” in the natural ecosystem of all stolen objects: Marketplace.
The random events occurred in the city of Bennet, Colorado , when a truck heading to a GameStop store was looted in a rather creative way while transporting 2,810 Nintendo consoles.

It was the driver himself who, just before an inspection, noticed that the "paddles" with the consoles had disappeared from the cab. He notified the supplier, who is probably already checking for suspicious advertisements such as "pre-owned Switch 2, unboxed but with a moral guarantee" throughout the Denver area.

Fortunately for Nintendo (and GameStop), each of these new consoles comes with a serial number that must be activated online, allowing the Japanese company to remotely ban them… that is, unless budget-conscious buyers never log into the online store and are happy to play in airplane mode.
So far, Colorado authorities have no leads on the robbers, although they are already concerned about an even more valuable shipment: books written by Nobel Prize-winning authors, which will likely also end up “lost”… although those might take longer to appear on Marketplace because no one is looking for them.
