Chivas extends its negative streak on the road by falling to Atlético de San Luis

Chivas remains winless as a visitor in the current tournament, the Rojiblanco team once again fell on foreign soil, after losing 3 to 1 against Atlético de San Luis on the Alfonso Lastras field.
The Sacred Flock added its fourth consecutive match without a victory as a visitor, achieving its worst streak in the last ten years. The Rojiblanco team went from a hopeful first half to a second half to forget.
Guadalajara was without Óscar García on the bench after he presented fever and symptoms of gastroenteritis, starting off on the wrong foot in what would be a disastrous night for Guadalajara.
Chivas looked better in the first half, however, the goals came in the second half, after Juan Manuel Sanabria assisted with a cross into the area to Sébastien Salles-Lamonge , who put the 1-0 for the local team, generating a hard blow for Guadalajara.
Six minutes later Vitinho appeared, who left José Castillo on the floor, and after making some space he shot at Raúl Rangel and the hopes of a comeback for the Sacred Flock were dashed.
Given the complex situation, the Chivas bench sent Yael Padilla, Cade Cowell and Javier Hernández onto the field in search of a chance to react in the game, so the all-time leading scorer ended his three-game inactivity streak in Liga MX.
While the San Luis fans were severely criticizing Hernández, after entering the field, the third goal for the local team came after Leonardo Bonatini took advantage of Guadalajara's weak defensive marking and put the score at 3-0.
Immediately after the match resumed, Roberto Alvarado sent a through ball to “Chicharito” , who eluded the goalkeeper and shortened the gap in the match to 3-1, in addition to ending his 10-month drought without scoring in the Liga MX.
Guadalajara tried to react, but it was not enough, so the Rojiblanco team was Atlético de San Luis's salvation, ending its six-game losing streak.
