EuroMillions has a new millionaire in Spain and the jackpot remains at 250 million, the largest in its history.

This Friday's EuroMillions draw has produced a new millionaire in Spain , who guessed the El Millón code and whose ticket was validated at lottery office number 2 in Villena (Alicante), located at Cervantes, 32.
According to the State Lottery and Betting Agency, in the third category (5 correct entries), three other tickets —out of a total of 18 correct entries—were validated in Spain. Specifically, each of them won a prize of 23,054.27 euros .
As for the € 250 million jackpot up for grabs in Friday's draw, the same amount will remain in place for next Tuesday's draw, as there were no top-tier winners (5 correct guesses + 2 stars).
This is the maximum amount this European lottery can offer, according to its current rules. Therefore, since no top-tier winners emerged this Friday, EuroMillions is maintaining the €250 million jackpot for up to four successive draws.
If the same circumstance were to occur again in the fifth draw, this amount "would be added to the prize fund for the next lower category in which there was at least one winner," reports the Loterías.
The first and only time the record €250 million jackpot was awarded was on March 28 , when it went to a bet validated in Austria . In Spain, the largest EuroMillions prize to date amounts to €190 million, won in October 2017 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
The total amount raised in the raffle held this Friday amounted to €136,057,985.80.
