Evelyn Salgado calls for unity to strengthen the transformation of Guerrero

In the framework of the 204th anniversary of the Mexican National Flag, Governor Evelyn Salgado Pineda called for unity and reconciliation to consolidate the transformation of Guerrero.
"It is time to consolidate the transformation. It is time for reconciliation, for unity, for seeking common ground and for finding ourselves on the same path, in the same team for the development, peace and well-being of Guerrero," he said during the ceremony to raise the monumental flag on Tehuehue Hill in Iguala.
The president emphasized that the National Flag symbolizes the resistance and strength of the Mexican people, and reaffirmed her commitment to justice, democracy and human rights.
He stressed that his government honors the national flag with actions, working in health, education and well-being, with programs that positively impact Guerrero families.
From Guerrero we can proudly say that this government understands the responsibility of honoring our flag, not only with words, but with actions: with an administration in the territory, fulfilling the commitments made in health, education and well-being, with flagship programs that are transforming the lives of women in all sectors. In all areas we have delivered results to families, to whom we reiterate our absolute commitment," said Salgado Pineda.
Under the monumental flag raised at a height of 130 metres, Salgado Pineda raised the flag and swore in 15 school escorts, reaffirming the patriotism and civic commitment of the new generations.
Later, the governor led the flag-raising ceremony at the Flag Museum and Sanctuary of the Fatherland, where she spoke live with President Claudia Sheinbaum, who led the national ceremony from Campo Militar Marte, with the participation of more than a thousand escorts from educational institutions and military bodies.
The governor emphasized that it is "our responsibility, as authorities and as parents, to instill in youth the love for Mexico and the commitment to a prosperous and dignified future."
