Kristin Cabot, implicated in Coldplay's kiss cam cheating scandal, resigns from Astronomer

The head of human resources at the technology company Astronomer, Kristin Cabot , resigned from her position, days after Andy Byron , the company's executive director, did so, after a video went viral in which they were captured together during a concert by the British band Coldplay , in the city of Boston in the United States.
“Kristin Cabot is no longer with Astronomer and has resigned,” a company spokesperson told CNBC .

The video in question shows Byron , married with children, and a woman he is hugging - Cabot - hiding from the camera after realizing they were being shown on the popular 'kiss-cam' , which usually focuses on couples at these types of events.
In the recording, which has accumulated millions of views on various social networks, Coldplay singer Chris Martin tells the audience: “Oh, look at those two: Either they're having an affair or they're very shy.”

Byron resigned on Saturday, followed now by Cabot , and their names have been removed from the company's website .
Following the scandal, Astronomer 's interim CEO Pete DeJoy wrote in a post earlier this week that the recent, unexpected national attention has turned the company into “a household name ,” CNBC notes.
