Prosecutors deny that Fátima was pushed; family rejects position

MEXICO CITY.- The Attorney General's Office of Mexico City reported that, so far, there is no evidence that any classmate pushed Fátima , a 13-year-old teenager, who was injured at the Diurna 236 secondary school in Iztapalapa.
According to reports, the minor remains hospitalized for the injuries she suffered in the fall on February 4. “At this time, there is no evidence that the minor victim was pushed by any of her classmates, or that she was accompanied by anyone when the incident occurred,” the capital's prosecutor's office stated in an information card.
The department said the fall was from a height of one floor and not from a second or third floor as initially stated. They also mentioned that the incident occurred while the students were in class, not during recess.

The FGJ said that although the minor remains hospitalized , it is known that her recovery has been progressing favorably , so the Prosecutor's Office will continue to monitor her health status and the decision made by her parents regarding the pending interview, in order to have more elements to clarify the facts.
"In any case, the FGJCDMX will be exhaustive in identifying whether there is any crime to pursue," he said.
On the other hand, her family rejects the position of the prosecution and demands that the accident be thoroughly investigated and that justice be provided for the 13-year-old.
