Steven Seagal, Oliver Stone, and other film personalities appear alongside Putin at the Victory Day parade.

Oliver Stone, Steven Seagal , and other film figures such as Serbian director Emir Kusturica attended the Victory Day parade in Moscow, commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Red Army's victory over Nazi Germany in World War II.
The military parade in Moscow's Red Square is presided over by Russian President Vladimir Putin, also Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, who marched through Moscow's Red Square this morning. It is estimated that more than 10,000 Russian soldiers, along with military personnel from thirteen other countries and the Chinese honor guard , are taking part in the event.
Popular action and martial arts actor Steven Seagal, who received Russian citizenship in 2016, is a huge admirer of the Russian president. "I'd die for Putin," the Under Siege star has even declared.
Oliver Stone, who conducted a series of interviews with the Russian president between 2015 and 2017, which culminated in the television series The Putin Interviews, had announced his intention to attend the event in recent days, declaring that "World War II was a great war for the United States, but the Russians won it."
For his part, Kusturica has repeatedly expressed his support for Putin and his policy toward Ukraine. "I support Putin because it's the logical thing to do. Zelensky is a bad actor and a bad president," said the Serbian filmmaker in an interview. He supported Moscow's annexation of the Crimean peninsula in 2014.
Emir Kusturica and Steven Seagal were in the guest gallery, along with leaders from some 30 countries, including China, Brazil, Egypt, Slovakia, Venezuela, and Vietnam.
As is traditional, those attending the parade also included members of the Russian government, Orthodox clergy, and Muslim communities in the country, as well as leaders of the parties represented in Parliament.
