Stolen motorcycle recovered in Dzilam de Bravo

DZILAM DE BRAVO.– Municipal Police officers managed to recover a stolen motorcycle thanks to citizen collaboration and a quick search operation.

The incident occurred on Wednesday morning, when the owner of the motorcycle, Addy Tun Chan , went to the Dzilam de Bravo boardwalk to go fishing with her husband.

Upon returning in the afternoon, around 4 p.m., he noticed that his motorcycle, a grey and green Italika 125RT, was no longer where he had left it.

Upon questioning witnesses, they were informed that a woman had been seen taking the motorcycle . Based on this report, the Municipal Police activated a search operation to locate the stolen vehicle.

Thanks to their efforts and coordination, the motorcycle was found hours later on Calle 8 between Calle 9 and Calle 11 in downtown Dzilam de Bravo. However, no arrests were made , since the suspect was not found at the scene.

Local authorities reiterate their call to citizens to continue reporting any suspicious activity through the emergency numbers 9-1-1.
