The pedophile network knew the victim in their care was a minor: "She's 13, she's worth that much and more."

The members of the Barcelona pedophilia ring led by an electrician were aware that the girl they were raping and filming was a minor, judging by the messages they exchanged: "She's 13, she's worth that much and more" or "Is this your first 14-year-old girl?"
This is stated in a police report of the case in which the 7th investigating court of Barcelona is investigating the alleged leader of the network, the electrician Teófilo LM, and ten other alleged sexual predators accused of raping a 13-year-old minor in care in a Barcelona apartment.

The electrician accused at the time of being arrested by the Mossos d'Esquadra
Mossos d'EsquadraThe electrician who allegedly led this network, Teófilo LM, and another of the alleged sexual offenders remain in pretrial detention for this case, the second of three separate pieces related to the pedophilia plot.
According to police reports on the case, some of those investigated for sexually assaulting the minor in care claimed they were unaware the victim was a minor, a version that contrasts with what they stated in conversations they had with each other on social media.
In fact, a police report on one of the alleged sexual offenders—who was identified by the tattoos seen in one of the seized videos—claims that the suspect must have been aware that the victim was a minor, which is "clearly" evident from her "poor" physical development.
The case file includes another conversation in which one of the alleged rapists complains that he had been fined 600 euros for violating coronavirus restrictions when, in February 2021, during the pandemic, he went to Teófilo's apartment to sexually assault the minor.
"It cost me 600 euros..." the accused complained in a message to the electrician, who replied: "She's 13, she's worth that much and more." Other messages exchanged by the suspects also referred to the victim's young age: "Is she 14 your first girl?" or "Well, I only met her when she was 13."

According to the case file, the suspects were also aware of the minor's vulnerable situation—she was under the care of the General Directorate for Child and Adolescent Care (DGAIA) of the Catalan government—judging by the comment made by one of them: "She's in a center, she's in a bad way."
In fact, the fear of being reported for raping a minor also comes to light in the conversations between those under investigation: "You don't know when that girl might open her mouth and your life might go to shit," "let alone having sex with a minor," or "I have the video and evidence, I could have easily reported you."
In this context, Teófilo LM instigated the 14-year-old minor, whom he also sexually assaulted, to delete his conversations from his cell phone and erase the incriminating evidence: "Go clear chats," "and you'll delete everything at once."
According to the summary, in addition to Teófilo LM, who was arrested in Valencia in 2010 for prostitution of minors, at least four of the eleven others investigated in this second part had previous convictions: one for child pornography and attempting to contact minors, another for domestic abuse, another for theft and misappropriation, and the last for a crime against public health and domestic abuse.
