A Source Debunks Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Rumors: ‘There’s No Trouble at All’

Over the weekend, Travis Kelce was seen out in Las Vegas without Taylor Swift. The sighting sparked some fans’ concern about the couple of nearly two years, as they haven’t been photographed publicly together since March.

Yesterday, a source offered reassurance to Page Six that Swift and Kelce are doing just fine in private. “They’re still so in love and enjoying spending time with their friends and each other during the offseason,” the insider said. “There’s no trouble at all.”

A source gave a similar update to Entertainment Tonight on April 23. Swift has been making the most of her break from the spotlight, the insider revealed: “She and Travis have been laying low, traveling, and enjoying some time off and quiet time together.”

Swift and Kelce have decided to keep their love story to themselves following the Super Bowl and Swift’s Eras Tour. On April 1, a source explained the reason why to Us Weekly, saying, “Taylor and Travis have learned that so much attention on their relationship is not the best thing.”

“Travis wants to take [a breather] from the public eye,” the insider added. “He was working too much last year, and he didn’t play as well as he wanted.” With the Kansas City Chiefs tight end preparing to return to the field later this year, “he wants to have a good season and not have the focus be on his relationship with Taylor.”

While Swift has laid low this spring, she won’t let fame keep her from living her life. In December 2023, Swift explained her shift in mindset to Time. “Over the years, I’ve learned I don’t have the time or bandwidth to get pressed about things that don’t matter,” she said. “Yes, if I go out to dinner, there’s going to be a whole chaotic situation outside the restaurant. But I still want to go to dinner with my friends.”

“Life is short,” she continued. “Have adventures. Me locking myself away in my house for a lot of years—I’ll never get that time back. I’m more trusting now than I was six years ago.”
